It’s going to be an amazing year!

Kennedy barely slept on Christmas Eve because she was just so happy. She had just gotten engaged to Greyson, his family was here, her family was here, and most importantly they all got to spend an amazing Christmas together. By the time morning came, Kennedy’s face hurt from smiling so much. She never would have thought that her Christmas would be this magical. Kennedy knew that Christmas was a special time of year and there was some Christmas magic, but this was so much more than that. It was the best Christmas that she had ever had and she was not expecting everyone to come.

Christmas morning came and Kennedy and her family exchanged traditions with Greyson and his family as they gathered around the fire, told stories, laughed, and had a proper Christmas together. Greyson was so happy to see how happy Kennedy was with both of their families. He was so happy that these were the people that were going to be his family and that Kennedy was the wonderful woman who was going to be his wife. They all had a fun and relaxing Christmas day and even went out and played in the snow for a little bit. Their families were going to be staying through New Years' before they headed back to the states.

Kennedy and Greyson wanted to show their families around London, so throughout the next week they were there, they traveled all throughout London. They took them to Hyde Park, Big Ben, and of course Cuckoo Coffee. Greyson and Kennedy made sure to have their own coffee dates throughout the week as well. The past week had gone by so fast that it was already New Year’s Eve.

Kennedy, Greyson, and their families went out and had a lovely night out. Their families went back to the hotel after dinner to rest and get ready to leave the next night. Greyson and Kennedy stayed out and went on a walk and ended up at Tower Bridge. It was almost midnight.

“Greyson, thank you so much for this past week. It was so lovely to meet your family and spend time with them and my family. The best thing though was getting engaged to you and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.” Kennedy said as they watched the lights twinkle on the water.

“Kennedy, there is no one else who I would rather spend the rest of my life with. I never would have thought that a simple hot cocoa replacement would lead me to find the love of my life.” Greyson said as he stared at Kennedy with the same look Flynn gives Rapunzel during the lantern festival in “Tangled”. Greyson and Kennedy stared into each other’s eyes and as the city lit up and the clock struck twelve, they kissed. They hugged as they watched the lights and started down the new road of their life together.
